This means fast and easy filter changes! The radial flow-through filter design utilizes the entire media area, which means maximum performance and minimal pressure drop. The NP-OVF001 Oasis VersaFilter Compatible Water Filter has a self-contained, sealed cartridge; this ensures that contaminants are not introduced to the filter media, reducing the potential for harmful bacteria growth. The NP-OVF001 cartridge has eco-friendly coconut shell carbon block media that reduces chlorine taste and odor, sediment, dirt, rust, cysts, and lead. The life of the filter is also extended by the spun polypropylene prefilter wrap. This prevents premature plugging due to sediment. Designed to last 1,250 gallons for lead reduction and 2,500 gallons for chlorine reduction.
